Funciones

De Mondion Restaurant, the Michelin-starred restaurant at The Xara Palace Relais & Châteaux, is seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented Chef de Rang to join its professional front-of-house team.

The Chef de Rang plays a key role in delivering an exceptional fine dining experience by managing a designated section of the restaurant and ensuring guests receive attentive, personalised, and seamless service throughout their dining experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong hospitality skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering Michelin-level service standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Take full responsibility for a designated section of the restaurant during service.
• Ensure all tables within the assigned section are properly set and maintained according to fine dining standards.
• Coordinate the service flow within the section to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the dining experience.
• Monitor table progress and manage timing of courses in coordination with the kitchen and service team.
• Ensure that tables are cleared, reset, and prepared efficiently for incoming guests.
• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, personalised service throughout their dining experience.
• Present menus and provide clear explanations of dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods when required.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the restaurant's ordering system.
• Ensure correct and timely delivery of dishes from the kitchen to guests.

Serve food and beverages following the restaurant's fine dining service techniques and etiquette.

Requisitos

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Chef de Rang or senior waiter in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of fine dining service procedures and etiquette.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard service environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork abilities.
Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
